Take Me Out To The Ball Game – 7th Inning Stretch Traditions in Toronto

I love the Blue Jays and baseball games in Toronto. I’ve been to 12 so far this year. Have 2 more planned already and a goal of at least 6 more on top of that.

I’ve picked up magnetic schedules, rally towels, baseball cards and bobbleheads at the park and I’ll be back for more.

Note: I do not love The Wave. The Wave is dead kids. I’m sorry if you didn’t get the memo and I’m the one that has to deliver the news. But it’s over. Let’s all move on.

However, I do love singing and stretching. And therefore, it would be foolish if I didn’t love the 7th inning stretch.

In parks all over the world (I assume) games pause a minute or 2 longer to let fans stand and get the blood flowing. At home we also get it to sing and stretch and watch the Jay Force on the field.

And in Toronto we add Okay Blue Jays to the mix… if you don’t know the words, here they are. Study up. I’d love for you to be able to sing along with me at a game sometime.
